My big baby boy is 2 years old!

How time flies! It feels like yesterday I held my little Ocean Trade wind (look at the old blogpost with the same title)  in my arms for the first time!  and yet, it has been 2 years! He is so big already my baby Kai!

He has grown up so fast and he is such a joy! He is becoming a real little man, with his own will… oooh and will, he has! hahaha

So we been busy trying to fix up the boat before going back in the water, and on top of that we all got sick ! (that’s why i  didn’t post any new blogpost for a week!) its been so busy. I was really bummed out that we where all sick and thought that it was going to be hard to do something nice for Kai on his birthday. The apartment we are renting for now don’t have an oven so i couldn’t bake him a cake as i wanted, the little town of Restinga don’t have a bakery either, so defiantly  no cake for Kai.

I had bought two little gifts for him in Tenerife, a drawing book with stickers and a glass-jar with two little blue owls on it and a straw. He also been asking me to make him a foot-bracelet like mami has…:) so i made him one…

The day of his birthday, he woke up happy as normal, and he got his favourite breakfast, natural yogurt with oatmeal!

We spend the day playing outside, kicking his little ball around, going to the beach, saying “hello” to everyone. Eat at a little restaurant, where he had a natural strawberry smoothie.

He got to watch some cartoon on the TV, had his afternoon nap. I had to wake him up because it was getting late and he had slept for quite a while, but when i did, we had a little muffin cake with a candle with number 2 on it. He was so surpriced. We sang “Happy Birthday” and he was so happy to blow out the candle! 😀

He ate the muffin in one go…hahaha.. and we gave him the presents. He was smiling so much! It was so beautiful!

Later on we went for another walk and had some juice at a cafe by the seafront, and there we called my mother and my sister so they could say “Happy birthday” to my big boy! ❤

We let him stay up till late and at the end of the day, he was so tiered and fell asleep like a baby!

IT was such a good day and we where so happy that we got to celebrate his 2 birthday as a little family, all together!
